Please be aware of the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Freelancers are entitled to claim £40.00 late fee on non-payment of debts, after this time, at which point a new invoice will be submitted with the addition of this fee. However, BC Media is happy to waive this if it’s simply a mistake that becomes rectified within the following 60 days.

My byline must appear under any piece I have written, both online and in print – including on the front page where applicable. If this is not possible, please alert me in advance so that we can agree on an alternative rate for publication without a byline.

Please note that by the time a story has been submitted, I am considered to have agreed to the outlet’s terms and conditions. Therefore, any adjustments to byline placement should be discussed and confirmed prior to submission.
